Two very different energies, two very different aesthetics, brought together by a single creative brief and the kind of natural tension that makes editorial photography worth doing. Emily brings a cool, architectural precision to the frame. Renata brings fire. We stripped back the colour deliberately not as an aesthetic choice but as a creative constraint. When you remove colour from the Dominican Republic, you force the eye to look at shape, shadow, and the relationship between two people in a frame.
