Manifest Magazine is Renata Valliulina's personal project a self-directed creative platform where she controls every element of the visual storytelling. When she came to Las Terrenas, she came with a vision already fully formed. My job was simple: keep up with her. We worked the beaches of Las Terrenas across a full day pushing through the golden hour and into the last light of the evening. Renata moves like she's been photographed her entire life, which she has. Every frame required almost no direction. She would find the light, own the space, and disappear into the image. The result is a series that feels less like a photo shoot and more like a document a record of a specific woman in a specific place at a specific moment in time. Exactly what Manifest Magazine is built around.
